10 seconds of voice message, are you serious? What am I supposed to say in 10 dead seconds? Can't play video/audio answers to my questions. How am I supposed to catch up the pronunciation if I don't listen to the native saying it?? I need to pay 3k per year just to listen to 3 sec audio?? I would rate it 0 stars if I could, HelloNative is way more convenient than this ridiculous app.

why so many bugs in android. it's good now we can see the trophy and the ranking but, when we enter a streamer's room our name doesn't show up, when my following starts stream, sometimes i didn't get notifications

I cant even open the app,it says there is no browser,but i have almost all browsers installed on my device. So,there is something wrong with this app,i have had no problems with any other programm.

I *love* using this app to communicate with native speakers, but they need to fix many things. It sends you a *ridiculous* amount of notifications (in app) for every answer you give (and sends repeats of those too!). It doesn't respect which notifications you selected to receive by email etc. It tells you only how to send "gifts" but doesn't explain *anything* about the gifts you've received and what that means, nor does the helpdesk know. It needs to have a direct messaging option added too.

Just another scam-ridden Hello Talk app but even more focused on getting your money. This is strange because this company once pioneered the very best platform (Lang 8) for learning languages with a very serious and supportive user community who helped this company become what it is today. Yet in return this company has done like so many other app developers and has joined the modern scam app movement with HiNative which aims to simply take your money, time and even hard work while making you pay continuously for it. Even though I am aware of all the controversies going on with these two, I highly recommend free Facebook or Twitter communities over this completely fake app as well as of course just going out into the real world and making friends at local events with foreigners. The illusion of scam apps like this one is doing things like making real friends would somehow be less efficient but in reality there is nothing less efficient than a scam app with no chat function (so that you definitely won't make friends who would help you for free or in a form of payment that doesn't benefit this developer) that even hides your posts from being seen in order to push you into paying real money for “priority posts” or whatever and forces you to correct other user posts only for the big maybe you'll get a correction in return. So it's just another online slave system time suck trap that has disguised itself as an efficient learning app or a way to make friends, etc - don't fall for it! And to the developers - I doubt you will but you should do the right thing and just bring back the good vibes of Lang 8! Accept memberships and don't fade it out. Or make an app that actually pays the users instead of just you?
