Absolutely crap for 2023
SafeHaven sponsored however no support whatsoever. System is locked out from reading equipment previously added by a third party tech the same day!

Doesn’t work right
Lots of features have bugs regularly. The automation suddenly stops working from my phone but works fine from the main panel. Just wish it worked right and then I would give a better rating. Needs an update or something to fix the bugs.

Nice app but sometimes it says the system didn't arm when it did and also the alarm reminder comes on after I have gotten home.

Small problems
After the last update The app always tells me the battery needs to be replaced. After replacing the battery the warning does not go away. When arming the alarm system, the check box for BYPASS is always checked and I have to uncheck it before arming the system. These few bugs need to be addressed.

I bought a home and this alarm.com equipment came with the purchase along with them asking if I wanted an ADT Contract. Bottom line is I refused a contract from the get-go because I already have Simplisafe. The screen that came with it doesn't work and the app doesn't work to display the doorbell camera. Neither has worked since about two weeks after they were installed. If you try to delete the camera and reinstall it, the app tells you that “This User Does Not Have Permission To Install a Camera Device” or some crap like that. Thankfully I never signed a contract with these idiots, because I have no doubt I would be waiting weeks for a technician to come out and they would charge for something that I have already paid for and could easily fix myself. I refused and still refuse to sign a contract that locks me in for 3 years for reasons exactly like this. Crappy devices, terrible customer service, and poorly designed software that you are forced to pay them for after you sign. Add to it the camera, when it did work, had zero IR so if you wanted to see anything after the sun went down you had to leave the porch light on (which limits your FOV to the cone of light from your porch bulb). Do yourself a favor and avoid this crappy company with crappy products.
