Don't get any physical products. I've backed 31 projects, and 30 have been successful. Have I gotten 30 products? No. At least 3 stopped responding as soon as the project was successful, and another 6 have said that they shipped, but don't respond to queries or have any tracking information. When you bring it up to kickstarter support, they offer a shrug and say "you knew it was a possibility."

Love this app - update: I take it back, I don't love the app

I no longer love the app. Can't post any comments without changing to landscape mode - currently the "post" button won't show up otherwise. Other buttons are half hidden or out of frame.

Funded a scam

Kickstarted a campaign late 2021. With expected delivery 2022. It's 2023 and the kickstarter has been pushed back and back. No updates in the last 3 months and basically just listing scams with no accountability.

No accountability by kickstarter or creators

Been burned on here. Company goes bankrupt and keeps your money. Selling the product in local shops for months now. Years of waiting, you are better off to not take the chance and buying from retail. Most products on here are gimmicks. Kickstarter takes your money and then walks away from all accountability. I feel it use to be decent? Now it's just the wild west of scammers

The platform does not offer any help against scams, I sponsored a game in 2019, jurassic world, the authors kept the money and disappeared and Kickstarter has not helped us at all to the harmed, on the contrary only silence, I do not recommend it.

In itself quite good for managing the Kickstarter activities. However, neither Google log in nor PayPal offer in 2023 is not exactly up to date. The main thing is Facebook... Thus, devaluation and useless for me.
