What happened!?
As a small business who occasionally has to use Michaels for supplies I do rely on the app to place quick orders for pick up from multiple stores. And sometimes if I'm in a store already I may grab an erroneous item. Because Michael's doesn't keep track of purchases even as a rewards member other than those placed online I tend to keep the barcodes of items I buy so I can find them again. The great thing about the app prior to this update is the ability to scan an item and confirm its name or if it's available in-store. But now unless I have the name exactly as it is in store my barcode is no longer relevant. Simply put: bring back features of the old app. It made for a better overall shopping experience instead of this overly basic app they've left us with!

Why was the app changed ? I can't even get on the Michaels app to get the 30 % discount on anything! So frustrating!!

Good luck trying to pay online
Couldn't place my order but still took my gift card money. Now I have to go out of my way to get my money back.

This ain't it
I used to enjoy shopping for art supplies and otherwise via the Michaels app but since the recent upgrade/refresh, and struggling with navigation since, I must say I detest the change. The overall look is improved, I will give it that much, but usability has tanked. It is now incredibly difficult to find anything via the search as anytime you are looking for something specific, you end up with random result. Also, narrowing your search by filtering results is effectively useless. I also no longer have access to favorited items from before, which eliminates the ease of finding the same items to purchase again. I hate this upgrade with a passion. Even going through established categories, such as art supplies > pencils yields ridiculously off the wall results. It's beyond buggy.

What happened to the Barcode Scanner?! This feature I use the most. Was forced to do an update to even use the app. I was actually going to use the app to scan an item and it's not there. Horrible app update.

Y'all took away the scanners in the store and on this app. These last two updates are the worse thing ever. And why is it always so hot to shop in the store.

The font is too large. I can't navigate past choosing a zip code or location to find a store. I installed this on my Galaxy S8 Ultra tablet. The app launches in landscape briefly before automatically switching to portrait. Please make this work for both views. Actually, please just make it work.
