Good and bad
I like access to so much great BBC material but it's annoying to find some items can't be played outside the UK, and while I enjoyed the Dr Morelle podcast remastered from 1957, it was very frustrating that the final episode isn't available! Still waiting to find out “whodunit”!

Works intermittently

Nov 2020 - Running very slowly on my Sony Android phone over last 2 months. I would reinstall if it didn't mean losing all the info about which programmes I've listened to in the past. June 2020 - Enjoying all the releases of old dramas and programmes. Jan 2020 - Getting better with each update. It's almost my a perfect app now. Love all the high quality programmes, live pause, rewind, autoplay next episode and all the new programmes that are released daily.

Can't listen as it's crashing every 30sec 😔

Queue controls me!
I didn't choose the queue option, I do not want the app keep proposing over n over episodes I already listened, even if deleted the queue option (that doesn't disappears) keeps reproducing them. Who on earth design such cryptic function that is impossible to take off. What listeners need is just listen one episode after another in the list of the program. That is what should be.

Since the last update, app crashes after around 30 mins of playing, takes the whole system with it. Slows the whole phone to a crawl. Have to force restart to fix the issue. At correct state, app is unusable

Was a great App, still is in many ways, but now cuts out regularily interupting my listening to podcasts

WiFi power-saving mode must be turned off, otherwise stream is cut off. Play Pause button too small.

I really like this, it works well and the functionality is all there. I do get some issues with buffering and screen lock. Some time after the screen has locked the BBC Sounds stops and restarts like it's buffering, but the problem goes away when I reactivate the screen. It's an intermittent fault, I have tried loads of things like shutting down all other apps, clearing the cache and rebooting. The problem always goes away after 15 minutes of fiddling but it is a bit annoying
