They overdraft your bank
Be careful getting this app. They pull the money from your bank a day early/ a day before the payment is actually do. Their policy says they also check your bank account to see if there are available funds to withdraw, but they don't! They have pulled a day early multiple times on my account when I didn't have sufficient funds yet and my account was overdrawn.. which is exactly what their policy says they don't do.

Inconsistent performance by Flex costly
Despite the money being available, Flex waited till 1 am the next day to pay the rent, causing $170 late fee, which they refused to reverse. All other times, they pay the day the money is available. Not dependable. Sad.

WORST APP
This is quite literally the worst app I have ever used. The app support is completely and utterly useless, they have no interest in helping their costumers. The fee isn't worth the confusion, disappointing, and the discouragement you feel when signing up for the app. The dates are quite literally useless. I cannot emphasize how confusing and frustrating this entire process is. It's better to suffer through writing checks every month than try and solve issues on this app. I have seen several people experience the same problem as me and none of them have actually been resolved. I've never rated an app with 1 star until this one. Quite truly disappointing.

I would rate this app 0 stars if I could. I have been a member since April 2022 and have never been able to access the app. I have submitted numerous requests about the issues I was having. I always have to submit a request thru text or email. I recently moved to a different apartment on the same property. I have been trying to get a “Flexpert” to link my new place to my Flex account all week and to no avail no one has helped me yet. I am so frustrated and unsatisfied with this app and customer service.

***UPDATE*** FLEX is taking more than the agreed amount of half of my rent. I've reached out to update my address so I can get some help with this issue. It's been almost a month and they still haven't updated my email. Because of this they won't communicate with me about my issue. VICIOUS CYCLE!!! UGH...So simple and easy to use. Helps me always be on time with my rent. Never have to stress about paying rent on the 1st anymore.

Worst experience ever. 1st time use and it has been the most stressful week of my life. Bank keeps flagging it, although I called multiple times. And replies to issues can take DAYS TO RECEIVE OR NONE AT ALL. There is no phone number, so nothing can be fixed quickly. I tried the self input option via my property portal, and it says it's paid but not in the app. During these times, fear of the payment being returned could cause financial ruin, i feel constant fear of what is to come on monday
